BetRivers and TMA launched a new spokescharacter, Bert Rivers, who had been frozen in time since the 70’s. Directed by Tim K at Golden, we told the story of how Bert was awakened and blown away by BetRivers’ sportsbook and online casino. Overseeing editorial and working with our editor Kevin Zimmerman, we hit the ground running on day one and sought to bring the 70's back in style.

Role: EP / Post Producer

Following Bert’s journey from being frozen in the '70s to defrosting in the present day, we took the comedic performances Tim was able to get with Bert and worked them into something punchy and vibrant. Kevin's edit helped us all to fall in love with Bert and his admiration of pocket casinos.

Once we picture locked, the work to dethaw Bert began. We partnered with the talented team at ZeroVFX to take Bert from accidentally frozen to an incredibly "cool with what ever this new life is" vibe. The TMA creative team's snappy humor matched with strong storytelling made this campaign a pleasure to produce. Throw in that catchy mnemonic and Bert became a star.
